Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator
We are currently looking for a SENCO for a fantastic school in Battle, UK. Battle is a historic town in East Sussex, it is close to the south coast of England, and coastal towns such as Rye and Hastings.
This is a great opportunity to work in a fantastic school within the independent sector. The role is a full time, permanent, SENCO role to start in September 2019.
If you have a passion for working with children, especially those with special educational needs, you’ll probably find this job of incredibly fulfilling.
Working with fellow teachers and staff, the key responsibilities of this kind of role include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of a school’s special education policy
- Co-ordinating provision of policies
- Communicating with parents of children with special educational needs
The school ethos is highly distinctive and focuses on nurturing a close-knit family atmosphere, encouraging active participation from its students.
You must be a qualified teacher with experience working with Special Educational Needs.
