Year 1 Primary Teacher
We are seeking a Primary Teacher for a Year 1 class in Hornchurch, Essex, UK. The role a contract maternity cover and is from September 2019 until June/ July (most likely fo the full academic year). The school is in the Greater London Borough of Havering and you will be paid a higher London salary because of this location. The location is a perfect spot where the public transport into London is very quick and easy, AND there are plenty of quaint towns and villages to explore to greener side of English life.
OFSTED have found the school to be consistenly GOOD:
“The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. Almost all the areas for improvement identified at the last inspection have been dealt with effectively. The school has developed partnerships with schools in Poland and Stoke. These relationships have broadened pupils’knowledge of cultures other than their own. Leaders have worked hard to raise attainment and accelerate pupils’ progress in writing. The unvalidated attainment and progress information for 2016 indicates that the writing results for the end ofkey stage 1 were above national averages.”
