Year 3 Teacher

We are working in conjunction with the Head of a fantastic 2 form entry primary school in Willesden, London Borough of Brent to find a Year 3 teacher to join them in July/September 2020 on a permanent basis. The ideal Year 3 teacher will have the drive and ambition to grow as a practitioner and demonstrate this trait in their current practice either as a trainee teacher or as a current KS2 teacher.

The Head is eager to hear from any prospective teachers wanting to teach in Year 3 from January 2020. The ideal Year 3 teacher will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of KS1 and KS2 and how to implement a varied and balanced curriculum to meet the needs of all pupils. For any NQTs, they will be well supported by an experienced mentor and join the borough’s induction programme to supplement their progression. Current teachers will have the opportunity to shadow subject and year leaders to build on their knowledge with the possibility of taking on additional responsibilities in the near future.

Based in Willesden within the London Borough of Brent, the school is located closely to Dollis Hill station with good transport links to the surrounding area. The staff adopt a holistic approach to teaching with a wide range of extra-curricular initiatives in place for children to thrive and develop their interests and talents.
