What locations can I work in, across the UK?
We are part of a large organization called Education Placement Group.
We have branch locations across England and Wales through Teach in, Supply Desk and Justteachers offices, and we also run the largest privately owned Teacher Training provider in the UK, e-Qualitas. Supporting and training teachers is what we are all about.
Having these connections means you gain access to work opportunities in lots of cities and regional parts of the UK. It also means you can choose to travel and work in several places during your time there if you decide you want a change of scenery.
Here is an overview of the main locations we service, but we have not included everywhere we have work, so let us know if you have a preference not mentioned like Surrey, Portsmouth, Berkshire, Oxford, Cambridge, Birmingham, and further north. Got a question? Click here to contact us.

London
We don’t assume that every overseas teacher heading to the UK is interested or suited to living and working in Central London but some people just want that London experience. We can help and our focus is on fixed-term contracts, so you know you can manage that London rent!
Contracts can be as little as a term or as long as a year or more. We match you to locations and specific jobs that suits your skills and experience. If you are looking for supply work and want to be close to London, we recommend Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire or Kent. They are very close to London but offer a cheaper cost of living and great school options.
Kent
Kent borders south east London, is large and extends out to two coastlines.You may have heard of the white cliffs of Dover? There is a mix of urban environments and more regional towns and villages. There are many grammar schools in Kent.

Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire (Herts) is home to Harry Potter World and lots of great schools and it’s just north of London. Hertfordshire is a great place to live and work, close to the capital ( 15 minutes on a train from Watford to Euston Station) but the cost of living is lower and it is only 45 mins to Heathrow or Gatwick airports. Buckinghamshire
Buckinghamshire is known as Bucks and is also a home county close to London and is known for the many grammar schools and picture box villages dotted around. There are also more urban cities like Milton Keynes and Amersham. It’s a popular pick for overseas teachers. Essex- Havering

Brighton is just an hour from London on the train both Southampton and Brighton are on the south coast. Brighton is known for it’s alternative vibe and community feel. Manchester
Manchester is a very large city in the north west of England and it has it all- from art, music, to sports. There is an international airport and schools across the Greater Manchester area.

Leeds
Leeds, like Manchester is a University city in the North of England. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and always loads going on for young people and families. Coventry-Midlands
Coventry is an affordable location, services by Jutteachers. Coventry is a city in central England. It’s known for the medieval Coventry Cathedral and there is lots of work for teachers wanting a regional experience and access to the north and south of the country. Cardiff-Wales
Want to work in Wales? Cardiff, the national capital is where we can offer overseas teachers work. Enjoy the beautiful valleys around Cardiff and the busy buzz of the city.
