We are seeking a full-time permanent Science teacher, at Junior or Senior level for a Catholic College in Western Queensland. This position is to start Term 1, as soon as possible.

Mount Isa, a vibrant and progressive city of approximately 20,000 people, is located approximately 1,600 kilometres North West of Brisbane and 900 kilometres west of Townsville.
It is joined to both Townsville and Brisbane by plane (with both QANTAS and Virgin Blue airlines servicing the region), bus, rail and road travel. The city is primarily a mining centre with Mount Isa Mines being one of the prominent employers in the region. Many of the industries operating within the city not only support the mines but also tourism and the cattle industry of the Gulf community producing some of the country’s best beef. As an educational precinct the city currently has seven State primary schools and two Catholic Primary schools. The region hosts one other High school.
