Early Career Teachers
We place new graduate Aussie, NZ and Canadian teachers into their perfect permanent, long-term or fixed-contract role in the UK. Don’t be afraid to head over as soon as you qualify, as we will make sure you have a mentor and the support you need to have a positive experience and develop professionally.
Early Career Teachers know that it can be hard to get that first permanent role. Despite brimming with enthusiasm, energy, and up-to-date knowledge of best practise teaching and learning pedagogy, schools will often overlook you because of your lack of classroom experience, and most agencies are only interested in getting you onto their supply teaching books.
Not us.
We recognise the benefits that beginning teachers bring to the classroom, and work tirelessly to get you the position that suits you and your career path, whether that be a permanent position, or even long-term or fixed term teaching jobs if you feel this might suit your circumstances better. You can even start on a Guaranteed Supply Contract. We’ll even help you refine your CV, and coach you for your interviews, to help you present your very best side, as the professional, dedicated, capable teacher you are.
Each year Early Career Teachers and final year education students are invited to interview with UK Principals. This personal interview and assessment process, means you are matched to the best possible school to support your transition into the British education system.
“I was quite nervous as it was my first interview for a teaching position, however, I was immediately put at ease by Teach in. They were so friendly, approachable and willing to answer any questions and give us some handy advice.
During the day it was arranged for us to visit and be interviewed by an outstanding local school that has connections with other schools in the area. It was a great confidence boosting experience with the potential to lead on to a job opportunity. Thank you both for a fantastic day!”

“Teach In is a fantastic way to get connections with great schools, and it takes the hassle out of applying for jobs independently. The Teach in staff were helpful, friendly and encouraging. They provided an open, fun yet professional atmosphere which instantly put me at ease. They were genuinely interested in my teaching journey so far and adapted the day to suit myself and my fellow beginning teachers.
I feel that Teach In has helped me on my journey of becoming a teacher and I am looking forward to hopefully meeting with them again in the future. Thank you!”
